Who We Are
Central Presbyterian Church "breaks down the dividing barriers of hostility." We recognize that we are called as Christ's ambassadors to exhibit the Kingdom until he comes. The members of our church, the Body of Christ, shall give full expression to the rich diversity within our corporate life by honoring and cherishing persons of:
- All racial ethnic groups
- Variety of ages
- Various disabilities
- Sexual orientations
- Diverse geographical areas
- Differing theological positions consistent with reformed worship
- All marital conditions

Central Presbyterian Church of New Lenox has a history of caring and sharing for each other, recognizing the importance of prayer, scripture, mission and God's presence in our daily lives.
We feel the need to challenge ourselves by providing a ministry that will reach young and growing families, as well as our senior population.
It is our continuing goal to offer ministry to all age levels, reach out to our community and become a vital presence in the community.
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior!
Central Presbyterian Church is located at 1101 S. Gougar Road in New Lenox, which is south of Route 30 on the southwest corner of Illinois Highway/Spencer Road and S. Gougar Road. We are the brick church with the separate bell tower.
If you are a woman going through a rough patch or in need of supportive companionship, please see our Ladies Who Lunch Page. This club is for women just like you, who need a "soft place to fall" at this time in their lives. You don't have to be a member of our church or a Presbyterian to join us. Please check us out!
